Dear Michael,

It truly is a pleasure knowing you. The first day we talked about having my body painted to help me feel inspired and empowered after having had breast cancer was the best thing I decided to do.

The day I arrived at the studio I was extremely nervous. However, after talking with both you and Keegan I began to immediately feel comfortable. I remember feeling the cool paint touch my body and for the first time in a long while I flashed back to the day of my surgery when I had to have both my breasts removed due to breast cancer. I had to hold back the tears because I didn't want to let you both see me crying. As Keegan began to paint my body, and I began to see an image of the beautiful white cloud, I actually felt like I was floating in the sky.

Once we got into the studio and you began taking pictures of my painted body, I felt a feeling of being free of cancer in my life for good, and it was at that time I knew I could do anything I wanted without being afraid. Your compassion and caring technique as you clicked away with your camera made me feel so comfortable. While the lights were hot, I had the best time of my life since being diagnosed with breast cancer.

I thank you so much for all your continued hard work, and when all was finished on that wonderful day, the Ribbon In The Sky was born.

With Love,
Cindy Papale - author of: The Empty Cup Runneth Over
